Community Impact
-
My creative practice extends beyond branding and visual storytelling. Over the years, I have worked with organizations, city initiatives, and local businesses to bring art, culture, and education into the spaces that need it most.
For me, community work is not separate from creativity. It is one of the clearest ways creativity can create connection, preserve culture, and give people space to see themselves represented.
-
One project close to my heart is Art in the Park, a youth-focused activation series that brings together art, music, and STEAM learning to encourage curiosity, connection, and mental wellness.
Across Miami—from Wynwood’s Roberto Clemente Park to historic Overtown—these activations have transformed public spaces into welcoming creative environments for kids, families, and local businesses. Each event becomes an open canvas where people can gather, make, learn, and connect.
My role has included developing flyers, posters, and event graphics; facilitating interactive art experiences; helping shape visual direction; and creating photo and video coverage that documents the energy of each moment.
-
My community work has included collaborations and partnerships connected to the City of Miami, the City of Miami Gardens, the City of West Palm Beach, Youth Concept Gallery, BLK App, and other local initiatives.
Projects have included art activations, youth programming, creative workshops, cultural celebrations, and visual communications designed to bring people into the work. The goal is always to make the creative experience intentional, welcoming, and connected to the people it serves.
Participating in Juneteenth celebrations with Youth Concept Gallery was especially meaningful. Through art installations, visual design, photography, and video, we honored Black history, celebrated freedom, and amplified local talent. The resulting images were more than event content. They documented pride, unity, and the importance of preserving cultural memory.
-
These experiences have reinforced something I believe deeply: design is more than aesthetics. It can be a tool for storytelling, healing, education, and change.
Creative work can shift narratives. It can make a public space feel welcoming. It can help young people understand that their ideas are valuable and that their culture belongs in the picture.
That is the kind of impact I want LA SOLE to continue building—work that is visually strong, culturally aware, and connected to something larger than itself.
-
If you are planning a community activation, youth program, cultural event, or purpose-driven campaign, LA SOLE can support the work through:
•Creative direction and visual strategy
•Event branding and promotional design
•Art activation concepts and workshop support
•Photography and video documentation
•Social and campaign content
•Community-centered visual storytelling
Let’s create work that brings people together and leaves a meaningful mark.
